Welcome to Our New Manager!

Picture--Julie RobinsonNorth Quabbin Community Co-op/Quabbin Harvest welcomes our new manager, Julie Robinson! Julie comes to us from her current position as Demo and Promotions Coordinator at the Brattleboro Food Co-op where she has worked for six years. Her background in food co-ops, management, and food businesses will put Quabbin Harvest on solid footing for a great future.

“There is so much positive energy and commitment to making  the Quabbin Harvest Community Market a strong and vital resource for everyone,” says Julie. “When we work together co-operatively and share our strengths, we create a more dynamic and resilient community. And as our relationships with our neighbors flourish, so will our endeavors. I am honored to help realize this dream!”

Julie Robinson, a Northfield resident and Massachusetts native, and has been dedicated to supporting local agriculture and businesses throughout her career, education, social involvement and personal choice. She has worked for and been a shareholder in several coops and CSAs, a Board of Directors member for NOFGA, historical societies, Friends of the Library, PTO member and owner of her own business that offers cooking and food classes promoting sustainable, healthy and delicious choices.

In her “spare” time, she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, hiking, cross-country skiing and crafting gourmet chocolates.
