Simplifying our member discount system

Our board of directors voted in December to change from a once-a-quarter Member Appreciation Day when members could take a 10% discount to the "anytime" system that many other food co-ops use: members can now take their discount once every quarter on a shopping trip of their choosing.

We know that not everyone managed to make it to the store on the four specific dates when we held Member Appreciation Days. And not everyone reads this newsletter or sees our signage or social media announcing when those days are.

If you're a member and we have current mailing info for you you should be receiving a postcard lvery soon. If we don't have your current mailing address, we'll try to alert you via email.

You can take 10% off everything in one shopping trip every three months, with a few exclusions (member equity payments, pre-ordered produce shares, or items already on sale; this discount also can't be combined with others, for example the 5% senior discount on Fridays).

We'll keep track of whether you've used your discount each quarter. If you miss it, another one will be coming up soon!
