Good news about HIP

Benefits in the Healthy Incentives Program (HIP) will increase to $40 a month on July 1 for everyone using the program, thanks to some very determined advocacy and organizing by HIP supporters in the State House and beyond. That means those who have been getting just one monthly $20 share through Quabbin Harvest will be able to go back to getting the same share biweekly. You can sign up for the second share (or enroll as a new HIP participant) here.
And the 2026 budget now on the governor's desk includes full funding for HIP for the coming year.
