Recipe: Curried Hakurei Turnips

from the Veggie Project


1 chopped onion
2 tablespoons oil
5 or 6 hakurei, peeled and sliced thin
2 teaspoons curry powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 lemon, cut into wedges


Sauté the onion in the oil for a few minutes until translucent.
Add the turnips, the curry powder and salt and cook until everything is tender.
Squeeze some lemon juice over the dish before serving and serve with extra lemon wedges.
