Arts & Experiences Auction

Save the date: Auction Nov 3
Join us for our sixth annual "Arts & Experiences" fundraising auction to benefit Quabbin Harvest's work in the community. It's a fun and festive event that showcases the talents and generosity of our co-op family and our North Quabbin area!
The live auction will take place on Fri, Nov 3 at First Universalist Church in Orange, right across the street from the store. There will be a social hour from 6-7 pm with good food and drinks, plus music by Jim McRae of Warwick and a table full of bonus silent auction items that you can bid on.
The live auction action starts at 7 pm with everyone's favorite auctioneer, Michael Humphries, at the podium.
There's also a two-week online silent auction in the run-up to the Nov 3 event, with lots of great items to bid on. Bidding is open from Oct 20 until 5 pm on Nov 3. Winners will be announced during the live auction or via email.
The full auction catalog plus bid sheets for the online silent auction will be available in mid-October. Watch for more info coming soon via email, our website, and the Facebook event page. How you can help
We're still soliciting contributions for the live and silent auctions, and we'd love to hear your ideas and offerings. Do you have a special skill or talent? Could you lead a tour, host a picnic, share a handmade item? In the past, some of the most popular items have been those that reflect something unique about the donor or the place and community we all share. To suggest an item, email the auction co-chairs, Ingrid Schatz and Cathy Stanton.
We're also looking for volunteers to bring food and drink (hearty appetizers or non-alcoholic drinks - beer and wine are already being donated) and to help with set-up, clean-up, and logistics. Email Volunteer Coordinator Pat Larson if you can help!
