Fourth Annual Arts and Experiences Auction!

Silent Auction October 15 - 29 ~ Live Auction Friday October 29!

It's Auction time!

We're excited about our fourth annual "Arts and Experiences" fundraising auction, an important (and fun) part of our fall fundraising campaign to support the work of the co-op in our community.

The catalog is now available here, and bidding for the Silent Auction starts today. There are lots of great items, from artwork and kids' books to local food and kitchenware. Instructions for bidding can be found in the Silent Auction folder--basically you just type in your name and bid (include an email address with your first bid) and then check back to keep track of how things are going.

While you're perusing the Silent Auction catalog, make sure to have a look at the list for the Live Auction, which will take place on Zoom on Fri, Oct 29 at 7 pm with everyone's favorite auctioneer Michael Humphries. You'll need to register on Eventbrite to get the Zoom link on the day of the event.

And there's more! Of course Nalini is cooking up something special for Auction day: a fabulous grazing box filled with Finger Foods from Around the World (taquitos, roasted cassava with mango sauce, pickled carrots, so much more). You can order it in advance online by 7 pm on Tues, Oct 26 and pick it up in the store after 2 pm on Fri, Oct 29. At $40 per box, it's a filling meal in itself and a delicious way to contribute to the co-op.

It's also the perfect accompaniment to our Zoom Social Hour preceding the Live Auction, from 6-7 pm. Storyteller Norah Dooley will be dropping by and you'll be able to chat with friends and fellow co-op folk as well as make sure everyone has the hang of Zoom before the auction starts.

There's also a mini-auction in the store for the next two weeks. Make sure to check it out and place a bid if you feel inspired. You'll find a hard copy of the catalog in the store too.

That's a lot! We invite you to join the fun over the next couple of weeks, and to help make this important fundraiser a big success. Watch for updates as we get closer to Oct 29, too.

Support our work by volunteering or making a donation.
